Laser engraving Acrylic

Hello! Does anyone have any suggestions on acrylic laser engraving?
I’m exploring either using cnc or laser for etching acrylic (micro lettering, 1mm avg char height) on my genesis block tesseract design.
I want to fill the engraving with UV glowing resin so it has to have a slight depth from the surface for it to fill properly.
I’ve seen some projects look similar for signage but that’s a much larger “engraving”.
Have you had any experience with this process?
