Printing Ventilation suggestions?

I have a tent setup on the rack now with my FDM and resin printers in there. Dont really want to print with high VOCs around the dogs until it’s ventilated.

What do y’all do for ventilation? What about air purification?

Looking forward to suggestions and hopefully some photos!

What’z up AJ

I’ve heard this filter is really good. https://voxelpla.com/products/bento-box

However, I just purchased a P1S and I still need to get this filter myself. I’ll be ordering mine in about a week so if you get it respond and let me know what you think!

Happy Printing!

I personally run huge carbon scrubbers 24/7 but I also have 20+ printers in a room.
I use ones made for weed tents XD

They work great, I got air monitors in the shop that track VOCs and PM1-2.5s

The Bento-Box is also another good option mentioned by Kwood.

what's up Bear Den! thank you, yes I've looked at these! I think it's perfect for the Bambu if you need a simple filter. I think though for the VOCs that are produced with the resin printing and alcohol washing, i'm going to vent out the window with a filter. I don't have a Bambu machine yet, only the centauri carbon at the moment.

Eventually when I move into a bigger space, I will do the scrubber system! what kind of scrubbers do you have for your lab Rick?

If you're printing with resin. ABSOLUTELY exhaust those outside, if not run a massive carbon scrubber meant for grow houses.

I finally pulled the trigger and bought the Anycubic Kobra 3 v2 combo. Stupid deal on AliExpress I couldn't refuse. I'm more of hobby user not like you guys but I'm still worried about the off gasses and such. Should I be worried printing indoors with PLA? It's a very small house with a young child and animals (cats and dogs). I was going to buy an enclosure off Amazon and vent out the window next to the printer but I felt that might mess with all the print temps.

I would rather not have the micro plastics aerosol into the air but I'm more worried about off gassing of toxic chemicals. Maybe I'm stressing too much but rather safe then sorry.

Thanks
