Claude Code changed how I view what’s possible

With zero coding knowledge, only pure curiosity and determination, I was able to create what I have thus far on https://www.blockzero.us

I started using Grok last summer just for fun to make a python based text matrix rain, but I wanted the matrix rain to be the genesis block data. So I kept exploring, doing some fun stuff with Grok and python, and made the basic prototype of the matrix rain hash rate chart.

Life got a little busy and I find of forgot about it while I worked on the genesis block Tesseract design. The idea came up again when I needed a website for my brand and a friend told me about Claude Code the first week of December. Went and upgraded my 11 year old maxed out mbp from 2014 to a Mac mini m4 and bought a Claude pro plan.

I quickly realized how powerful it was. Hitting session limits very fast with the new project started, I upgraded to the 5X max plan and writhing 13 days i had the website live for everyone and have not had any major issues since (although its a graphically intensive site, working on optimizations now).


All this to say : don’t have fear of pursuing your wildest ideas. It doesn’t even need to be software related, but you might develop a custom use case for a custom piece of software that can change everything for you.

Start off playing around with it first in the terminal or CLI, it’s the most powerful way to use it, and it’s plan mode is great. Use Claude.md, skills.md, agents.md and play around with engineering your workflow and planning FIRST. Spend the majority of your time planning and you won’t have to spend it iterating on an issue over and over.


The key is context so provide it. I pretty much info DUMP into a prompt for like 2-3 minutes about what exactly I want while in plan mode and iterate the PLAN about 10-15 times until i actually agree with everything that’s on there. Then I start it and will be way more efficient and utilizing instructions or skill files because it doesn’t have to guess, you gave it the context.
